Race Information
The RMHCNE Women's Classic 5k Run and 3k Walk features certified, flat, and fast courses starting from the Brown University Stadium through the scenic and historic East Side of Providence.
Courses:
- 5k run (3.1 miles)
- 3k walk (1.8 miles)
Registration: Online registration is available through Thursday, October 8. In-person registration is available during packet pick-up and on race day.
Registration Fees:
- $20 through April 1
- $28 April 1 through September 7
- $34 September 8 through October 8
- $40 October 8 through October 11 (in person only)
- $10 for elementary, high school, and college students
Race Day Schedule (Sunday, October 11, 2026):
- 8:00 am • Race day registration opens
- 9:00 am • Start of RMHCNE Women’s Classic 5K Run and 3K Walk
- 10:00 AM EDT • 5k run and 3k walk start
Packet Pickup:
- Saturday, October 10, 2026: 8:30 am – 11:00 am at Rhode Runner (657 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904)
- Sunday, October 11, 2026 (Race Day): 8:00 am – 9:30 am at Brown University Stadium (400 Elmgrove Avenue, Providence, RI 02906)
Prizes: Team and individual cash prizes are available for top finishers in the 5k run. Age group awards and merchandise prizes are also offered.
Restrictions: Dogs are not allowed on the course or in the gates of the track. 5k participants will not be allowed to push strollers during the event. 3k walkers with strollers must start at the back.
