RomaOstia Half Marathon
The RomaOstia Half Marathon is a well-established running event celebrating its 52nd edition. The race features a standard distance of 21.097 km and is known for its linear route that connects the city to the coast.
The course begins in the heart of the EUR district in Rome and follows the Via Cristoforo Colombo toward the seaside at Ostia. This fast-paced track includes the notable "Camping" climb followed by a final descent towards the finish line. Participation requires adherence to specific regulations, including the validation of medical certificates for those with a RunCard and verification of membership requirements.
Participants must complete the race within a maximum time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. In addition to the main competition, the Gruppo Sportivo Bancari Romani (GSBRun), which organizes the event, offers training sessions along the race route.
