Robious Landing 3 Miler
The Robious Landing 3 Miler is a no-frills, classic trail race that highlights old-school cross-country running at its best. Hosted by Richmond Road Runners Club, this event emphasizes great trails, a supportive racing environment, and a focus on the run itself.
Brand new for 2026, the Robious Landing 3 Miler introduces a Ruck Walk/Run division, offering participants an added endurance challenge by completing the course while wearing a weighted backpack or a Weighted Vest. Participants under 150 lbs. must walk/run with 10 lbs. Those over 150 lbs. must carry 20 lbs.
For 2026, the race returns to Robious Landing Park with both in-person and virtual options available. Formerly known as the Huguenot 3 Miler, this race remains a favorite early-season challenge. Both events are RRRC Grand Prix (GP) races for 2026.

Note: This is a no-frills event. No race shirt and no on-course water stops are provided. Runners should plan accordingly.
Event Rules & FAQ's
- Trail Surfaces: Uneven, watch for roots, rocks, mud, and changes in footing.
- Pace: Trail racing rewards effort, not splits.
- Passing: Communicate clearly and courteously.
- Other Park Users: Be alert and respectful.
- Safety: You are responsible for your own safety.
- Strollers/Dogs: Not permitted on the course.
- Water Stops: No on-course water stop. Carry fluids if needed.
- Timing: In-person race is chip-timed. Virtual participants submit their own time.
- Minimum Age: 9 years old or older.
Cancellation Policy
All entry fees and processing fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Registrations cannot be deferred. Transfers to another runner are only possible via the wait list after the race has sold out. No refunds, transfers, or deferrals in case of postponements, cancellations, or inability to participate.
Richmond Road Runners Club (RRRC) Mission
RRRC supports running and healthy lifestyles in the Richmond Region by sponsoring races, providing running resources, supporting kids' running programs, and awarding scholarships. RRRC is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization with approximately 2,500 members.
