8th Annual River's Edge Endurance Challenge
The River's Edge Endurance Challenge is an annual event held on the River's Edge Trail system. This year's event includes a 5K (3.1 mile) race, a 3-hour endurance challenge, and a 6-hour endurance challenge.
Important Dates & Deadlines:
- Register before 9/3/2026 to guarantee a T-Shirt.
- Race Medals must be ordered ahead of time; registrations after 8/15/2026 may not receive a medal.
- Online registration is open through September 26, 2025, up to the race sign-in deadline at 8:00 AM.
Event Schedule:
- Race Sign-in for all races: 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
- Random drawings for free gifts: 7:45 AM.
- 3-Hour and 6-Hour Challenges start: 8:00 AM.
- 5K Race starts: 8:30 AM.

In Person, the lower practice fields in between Brunswick High School and Brunswick Middle School, Brunswick, MD 21716.
Course Description:
All races feature approximately 1 mile on school property with the remainder on the River's Edge Trail system. Both 5K and 5-mile loops are well-marked.
Prizes:
Gift Cards will be awarded via random drawing (two gift certificates per race).
Beneficiary:
This event is a fundraiser for the Brunswick High School Track and Field program, supporting the purchase of much-needed equipment.
