Ripon Triathlon Festival 2026
Ripon Triathlon Festival takes place on 11 and 12 July 2026 at Ripon Racecourse in Ripon, set in the Yorkshire Dales. The event is organised by TBF Events and spans two days of swim, bike and run competitions with onsite entertainment.
Saturday Features
Saturday features junior races for ages 8 to 18, including open-water swims in the onsite lake. Junior distances include:
- TriStar Start: 100m swim / 1 km bike / 600m run
- TriStar 1: 200m swim / 2 km bike / 1.2 km run
- TriStar 2: 300m swim / 4 km bike / 1.8 km run
- TriStar 3 & Youth: 500m swim / 6 km bike / 2.4 km run
- Swim events: 750m and 1500m
Sunday Features
Sunday hosts adult races with sprint and Olympic distances plus relay and aquabike options. The Sprint event is a European Championship qualifying race; entrants who intend to qualify must select the qualifying wave when entering. Adult and aquabike distances include:
- Sprint Triathlon: 750m swim, 23.4km bike, 4.4km run
- Olympic Triathlon: 1500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run
- Sprint Aquabike: 750m swim, 23.4km bike
- Standard Aquabike: 1500m swim, 40km bike
The swim takes place in the onsite lake, the bike course uses local roads, and the run follows tow paths along Ripon waterways. Team relay is available. Registration closes 10 July 2026.
