Our Mission Statement
Recovery Alive is aimed to help hurting people to WALK FREE from Addiction, Grief, Anxiety, Anger, Abuse, and Depression through the healing power of Jesus. Join us for a meaningful event to support those in need.
About the Race
Most of us have a family member, know of someone, or it might even be ourselves, who have battled with things such as addiction, grief, anxiety, anger, abuse or depression. Our goal, through the love of Jesus, is to help people escape the chains or addictions that is keeping them from WALKING FREE. All proceeds will benefit The Recovery Alive-Walking Free program and will be available to all those in need.
This program will be held through our church, but is open to anyone and everyone struggling and needing help. Please come and join us. If you’re not up to running, feel free to do the 1 mile walk. If you’re not up to either of those, you may sign up as a phantom runner and receive a shirt. Drinks and snacks will be provided directly after the race. Awards will be at 9:30. There will be an award given to the team with the most participants. There will also be music, raffles, and fun for the family.
The Course
This fast 5K course winds through the beautiful, paved trail system of Calhoun Park.

Age Groups Awards
Medals will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place Finishers in various age categories.
Parking
There is plenty of parking in Calhoun Park near the Start/Finish of the Race.
