Raffle Run - A Unique Endurance Event
The 2nd annual Raffle Run is here, with a focus on generosity and fun for all runners and walkers. We're giving away approximately $2,500 worth of prizes, and the best part? You can earn unlimited raffle tickets based on your effort, with no strings attached!
How it Works
Runners will receive a wristband at packet pick-up, which must be visible at all times to receive raffle tickets upon completion of each lap. You have 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete as many laps as possible. The distance is entirely up to you – run one lap or twenty! Each completed lap earns you a raffle ticket corresponding to the prize you wish to win. The more laps you complete, the more chances you have to win.
Prizes
Five prizes will be awarded, including:
- #1 Carnival Cruise Lines $500 Gift Card
- #2 Southwest Airlines $500 Gift Card
- #3 $600 Cash Money (3 winners, each receiving $200)
- #4 Pure Silver (Approximately $500 Value)
- #5 Pure Gold (Approximately $600 Value)
The raffle drawing begins at 8:45 AM sharp. Participants must be present with their winning ticket to claim their prize.
Course Description
The approximate 1.25-mile course winds through the beautiful Veterans Park in Hoover, AL. The course is well-marked and consists of both paved surfaces and trails.
Schedule
- 5:30 AM - 6:30 AM: Packet Pickup/Check-In
- 6:45 AM: Pre-race briefing
- 7:00 AM: Event begins
- 8:30 AM: Race cutoff
- 8:45 AM: Raffle drawing

Packet pickup is on race day at the start/finish line, located at the pavilion by the playgrounds at Veterans Park. Restrooms and parking are available.
Swag & Aid
All runners will receive a finisher's medal upon completion of their last lap. An aid station with water will be provided at the start/finish line area.
Refunds & Transfers
No refunds will be given. Entries can be transferred to another runner or deferred to next year's event by contacting the organizers.
