In a city as vibrant as Ottawa, no one should be without a safe, affordable place to call home, yet every day individuals and families are pushed to the margins by a growing housing crisis. That’s why the Alliance to End Homelessness Ottawa, alongside its members and partners, is launching the Race to End Homelessness, a community-driven 10K, 5K, and 1K run/walk designed to educate, engage, and unite people around housing issues.

The hosting organization is a member-driven coalition that works to end homelessness through systems planning and coordination, public education and advocacy, and community-wide mobilization. The event brings together 75+ agencies that work on homelessness and housing solutions.
Pre-event materials include a virtual orientation, an athlete handbook, a tourism guide, and a spectator guide. Entry for participants includes snacks, race photos, a T-shirt, a race bib, professional timing, and access to washrooms.
