Race for Life York 10k at The Knavesmire
Race for Life York 10k is organised by Cancer Research UK at The Knavesmire, York Racecourse (YO23 1EX).
10k and 5k Courses
The 10k course is a double lap of the 5k route. The start and finish are on grass, and the event site is on grass that is predominantly flat but slightly uneven. In wet weather, surfaces may become soft or muddy. The route combines grass, surfaced (tarmac) and trail paths and is mostly flat with some uphill and downhill gradients. An accessible route is available and the event is wheelchair accessible with assistance. The event is chip timed.

Free parking is provided within the racecourse fields, with separate Blue Badge parking available within the event site. The nearest train station is York, approximately 1.5 miles away. There are no bike racks at the immediate event site; bike racks are available nearby at the racecourse on Loverose Way. Facilities include refreshments, toilets, and permission for dogs. Bag drop and showers are not available.
Fundraising and Entry
The minimum fundraising target is £50. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training plans, community access, and a finisher medal.
