Race for Life Wirral 5k
Race for Life Wirral is a running event organised by Cancer Research UK at Birkenhead Park in Wirral. The event offers two measured distances and includes a fundraising element with a minimum target.

The course runs through Birkenhead Park and passes lakes, bridges and woodland. It starts and finishes on grass and then follows flat tarmac paths for the main route. Path surfaces can be uneven and, in wet weather, the grass areas may become soft or muddy.
The start and finish areas are located on the field behind the Birkenhead Sea Cadets. The closest pedestrian entrance is on Park Road East, approximately 140 m from the event site. Birkenhead Park train station is about 0.5 miles from the venue.
Onsite facilities listed include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are permitted, the route is suitable for pushchairs and the event is wheelchair accessible. Bag drop, showers and parking are not available. There is limited on-street parking nearby; Ashville Road is closed as it forms part of the route and Blue Badge parking is not available. Cycle parking and electric vehicle charging points are not provided.
Entry fees listed for earlybird pricing are £7.99 for adults and £5.50 for children. A minimum fundraising target of £50 applies.
