Race for Life Poole 10k at Baiter Park

The course start and finish are on grass. The route is a double lap that uses a mixture of grass, tarmac, hardstanding and gravel. It loops around Poole Park, passes under the railway line and enters Whitecliff Recreational Ground and Harbourside Park. The start and finish areas are flat and soft underfoot; in wet weather the grass sections may become muddy or slippery. There may be congestion at the lap split point.
Practical information noted for participants includes limited parking options at Harbourside 1 and 2 and drop off availability at Harbourside 1. Very limited blue badge parking is available in Harbourside 1 and 2. The closest train station is Poole Railway Station, about a 16 minute walk. Pedestrian access is from Catalina Drive. There are no bike racks at the event. Volunteer parking is pay and display at Harbourside Park 2 Surface Car Park, BH15 1XU, about a one minute walk from the volunteering marquee.
The event is chip timed and a medal is given at the finish. Available on-site facilities include refreshments, toilets, allowance for dogs, suitability for pushchairs and wheelchair access with assistance.
