Race for Life Nottingham: Victoria Embankment, Sunday 21 June 2026
This Race for Life event, organised by Cancer Research UK, takes place at Victoria Embankment in Nottingham. The course runs beside the River Trent with a generally flat route and a mixture of terrains. The start and finish are on grass. The 10k route is a double lap of the 5k route. The event is chip timed.

The meeting point is on the field just off Wilford Grove on the Meadows Ground near the Council Building; the what3words location is ///news.poet.pipes. Travel options include free event parking on the sports field accessed from Bathley Street with a short walk to the site, a drop off point and car park at the Felton Road Green Street junction, multiple bus routes to Victoria Embankment and Nottingham train station around a 25 minute walk. Two BP electric vehicle charging points are available at the Victoria Embankment car park. There are no bike racks.
Facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets, allowance for dogs, suitability for pushchairs and wheelchair accessibility with assistance. Sunflower wristbands and BSL stage content via QR code are provided. Entry is for people aged 16 and over; published entry fees and a minimum fundraising target apply.
