Race for Life Margate - Palm Bay
The Race for Life Margate event takes place on Sunday 12 July 2026 at Palm Bay, Margate. This event is for participants aged 16 and over and includes timed and untimed options.
Course Information
Distances offered:
- 10k - double lap of the 5k course, chip timed.
- 5k - single lap of the coastal route.
- 3k - shorter option.
The course starts and finishes on a mixture of grass and hardstanding and runs along coastal scenery. The route is mainly flat with a mixture of grass and tarmac surfaces. The 10k follows two laps of the 5k course.
The event site meeting point is on Palm Bay Green, adjacent to the Palm Bay Café. Parking is available along the main road. The closest train station is Margate Station. Bike racks are available by Palm Bay Café.
Facilities include refreshments, toilets, a bag drop, showers, and support for pushchairs. The course is suitable for wheelchair users with assistance.
Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training materials, community access, and a finishers medal.
