Race for Life London - Blackheath
This event, organised by Cancer Research UK, takes place at Blackheath Common, Off Prince Charles Road, Blackheath SE3 0TY. It is open to people aged 16 and over.
Course Information
The start and finish are on grass. The course is mainly on grass, winding up and down the heath. The route crosses some roads around the common, which are closed for safety. The Blackheath course is described as relatively flat. The 10k distance comprises two laps of the course. In wet weather, the grass sections may become boggy.

Bag drop, showers, and event parking are not available.
Travel Information
By car: There is no designated event parking. Parking bays around the common will be suspended. Blue badge parking is available in local car parks in Blackheath village. Local car parks and electric charging points are available in Blackheath Grove Carpark.
Public transport and pedestrians: Pedestrians should enter the heath from Prince Charles Road. The nearest train station is Blackheath, about a ten-minute walk away. Buses stop on Prince Charles Road or Prince of Wales Road (services 54, 202, 380, 386). Nearby bike racks are on Tranquil Vale.
