Race for Life Falkirk : Callendar Park
Race for Life Falkirk is organised by Cancer Research UK and takes place in Callendar Park, Falkirk. The event offers multiple distances and is set on grass and woodland trails through Callendar Park and Callendar Woods. The start and finish are on grass in front of Callendar House. The route is predominantly on grass and woodland trails and includes a number of hills; sections can become very muddy and uneven.
The event is chip timed and participants receive a Race for Life medal on completion. A minimum fundraising target of £50 applies. Entry prices shown are £17.49 and £11.00 for children. The 10k distance is for participants aged 16 and over.
Facilities noted on site include toilets, refreshments, bag drop and showers. Dogs are allowed and cycle parking is available throughout the park. Parking is provided at Callendar Business Park with a short walk to the event site; blue badge parking is available in Callendar Park Car Park. The event is not wheelchair accessible and is not suitable for pushchairs because of the terrain.
