Race for Glory 5K Fun Run & 1-Mile Walk
Please join us for the Race for Glory 5K Fun Run & 1-Mile Walk taking place on Saturday, August 29th, 2026, at Buckeye Woods Park.
The event is presented by Thomas Schmidt (race director) as well as race board members from The Society; Medina County Special Olympics, Ohio; Integrated Community Solutions and the Knights of Columbus Council #4168.
Participants can register online at this website OR mail-in the paper registration form which is also included in the tab on this website. Race Day Packet Pick-Up and Registration begins at 8:00am.
The 5K begins at 9:00am. The 1-Mile Walk begins immediately following the 5K start.
Both races are professionally chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown. Awards presented to the top 5K male and female runners overall and the top three 5K male and female runners in the following age categories: (14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Up).
