Race 5 Northants 5K Series 2026
Race 5 of the Northants 5K Series takes place on Sunday 20 September at Delapre Abbey in Northampton. The event uses multi terrain routes through local parks and woodlands around the historic abbey. The advertised distance for the event is 5 km.
All finishers receive a bespoke 5K Race medal that differs at each race in the series. A virtual entry option is available for those who cannot attend in person; virtual entrants who are registered for a race can receive the medal by post.
Entry fees are listed at £15.00 or £17.00 plus a non refundable booking fee of £1.50. The lower fee applies to runners affiliated to UK Athletics. Entries close at 23:59 on Thursday 17 September. Full race day details are issued by email seven days before the event.
The minimum age for entry is 11 years. On race day, 11 and 12 year olds must be accompanied around the course by an adult entrant. Car parking at Delapre Abbey is free. Route maps will be uploaded to the Northamptonshire Sport event hub before race day. Race packs and race numbers are to be collected on race day at the red Nsport gazebo. A mobile medical crew will be on standby. Toilet facilities are available in the courtyard and via The Orangery.
