Punk Panther Christmas Cracker
The Punk Panther Christmas Cracker is a trail running event in Otley, West Yorkshire, held on 12 December 2026. The event offers multiple distances across routes that run into the surrounding Dales and include significant ascent. The maximum number of entrants is 100 and the minimum age is 18.
Distances offered:
- 32 miles - 3400 ft climb; ITRA 2; UTMB Q50K
- 19 miles - 2200 ft climb; ITRA 1; UTMB Q20K
- 12 miles - 1700 ft climb; ITRA 0; UTMB none
Registration and race base are at Otley Cricket Club, Cross Green, Otley LS21 1RB. There are three checkpoints on the routes. The 32 mile route visits CP1, CP2, CP1 again and CP3. The 19 mile route visits CP1 and CP3. The 12 mile route visits CP3 only. If a competitor arrives after a checkpoint has closed they will be retired from the race.
All ultramarathon entrants receive a tracker. Trail entrants may hire a tracker for a fee. Organisers require competitors to carry minimum safety kit and may carry out random kit checks; failure to carry the required kit can lead to disqualification. Finishers receive a medal and an event T shirt unless they opt out. Vegan and gluten free options are available at checkpoints and at the finish.
