Portsmouth and Langstone Coastal Half Marathons
The Portsmouth and Langstone Coastal Half Marathons take place over a single weekend in February along the Hampshire shoreline. Participants have the option to enter individual races or complete both events over two days.
On the first day, the Langstone Harbour Half begins on Hayling Island. This route follows the trails of Langstone Harbour and includes views of the sea and local coastal scenery. The course features muddy sections and trails, concluding at Eastney Point. An optional ferry crossing is available for those traveling from the mainland to the start on the island.
The second day features the Portsmouth Coastal Half, which starts and finishes near South Parade Pier in Southsea. The course is flat and follows a loop around the eastern edge of Portsea Island. The route primarily utilizes windswept promenades and passes historic seafront locations.
