Porth Eirias 10K & Kids 1K Fun Run
The event is based at Porth Eirias on the Promenade in Colwyn Bay LL29 8HH and follows the North Wales Coastal Path. The route runs beside cliff tops, sand dunes and beaches with views toward Anglesey. The main running course is way marked and measured.
Event features include chip timing for the 10 km race, free parking and on site event centre facilities. All finishers receive a medal, and participants are provided with a race water bottle. The 10 km course is mostly flat with a couple of short hills along the route.
Distances
- 10 km for runners aged 15 and over
- 1 km fun run for ages 3 to 15
The event is organised by Bespoke Events and Fitness. Entry categories specify age limits for each distance and the organisers reserve the right to refuse participation or remove runners from the course if they are judged unfit or if safety concerns arise. Participants accept responsibility for their own fitness and the organisers state that no refunds are given in many cancellation scenarios. Event Details
A fun and friendly run along the North Wales Coastal path. The coastal path is set against an awe-inspiring natural backdrop of cliff tops and world famous beaches looking over towards Anglesey. This coastal run paradise is very accessible from most parts of the UK. A way-marked and measured 10k route, free parking, a great race medal and water bottle, with superb event centre facilities and of course, some truly inspiring running. Most of the 10K is extremely flat with a couple of cheeky hills to get the heart rate up, this means it’s a very quick course, it has by no doubt become one of Bespoke favourite courses.
