Polar Rush - Albion Hills, Caledon
Polar Rush is a winter obstacle race held Saturday, February 27, 2027 at Albion Hills Conservation Area in Caledon. The course uses snowy, hilly terrain over about 5-6 km and features 14 obstacles, including wall climbs, crazy carpets, snow crawls, a Disc run and the Snowball Gauntlet introduced in 2026.
Registration includes park access (listed value $18), a Polar Rush buff for all participants and a custom metal finisher medal. A family discount of $20 is applied automatically for participants 18 and under; some registration tiers also include a toque. Example registration prices shown are $59, $64 and $69; HST and online fees apply.
On course there is a stocked aid station with hydration and candy. Finish-line provisions include free hot chocolate and one free craft beer per participant for those 19 and older. The event offers bonfires, a chalet, an unorganized bag drop area and a warming tent if conditions require. Start waves are open with varying sizes; spectators pay an Albion Hills park fee of about $7.50. No refunds are issued after December 31, 2026, but registration transfers are permitted up to February 24, 2027. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

8:00am: Registration opens
9:15am to 2:30pm: Open waves start every 15 minutes up to 11:30am - every half hour after! Earlier waves are smaller - max 100, later waves max 150!
