Event Information
The Plainfield Salute the Troops event will feature three main courses:
- 5K Run: 3.1 Miles, Price: $30.00
- Fun Run: 1.3 Miles, Price: $10.00
- Soldier Stroll: 3.1 Miles, Price: $10.00
Beginning at 9:15 am with the National Anthem, the Fun Run will then take off at 9:30 am. The Soldier Stroll and 5K will follow starting at 10:15 am with the walkers starting in back of the runners. The route will begin and end at Plainfield High School and follow a scenic path through the athletic fields, Shepard Hill Elementary, and a small neighborhood. This event is open to participants of all abilities and skill levels.
