Seward Parks & Recreation is proud to start your race season with our annual Pink Cheeks Triathlon in Seward, Alaska! The Pink Cheeks Triathlon is open to all ability levels.
Additional Race Information
This year's race will begin with the 5K run, transition to the 10K bike ride, and finish with the 600-yard swim. Both the 5K run and 10K bike will start and finish at Seward High School, with race terrain including high school cross-country trails, city streets, and minimal gravel roads. Snow may still be present on the cross-country trails. Swim segments can be completed early between 8:00 am and 9:30 am, with team swimmers starting at 10:00 am.
Race Rules and Requirements
Teams must consist of 3 members. Bikers must wear helmets and provide their own bike stand. No spectators are allowed in the pool area. Bib numbers will be marked on the right upper arm for officials' use. No assistive devices are allowed in the pool unless required as an ADA adaptive device. Bikers must mount and dismount at specified locations. Transition time will not stop between the run and bike, but will stop during swimming.
Bib Pick Up
Bib pick up options include Friday, May 3rd at AVTEC gym and race day, Saturday May 4th at Seward High School.
