Pine Knoll Shores Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk & 1.5 Mile Stroll & Dog Walk
Join us for the 18th annual Pine Knoll Shores Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning, November 27, 2025 at 8:30 AM. The Turkey Trot & Dog Walk is a free run/walk event, and all are welcome. The Turkey Trot is also a charitable event that supports the Hope for the Warriors Angel Tree Project. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation!

- Pine Knoll Shores Turkey Trot 5K Run: 8:30AM EST - 10:30AM EST. 350 spots left. Registration Opens July 1, 2025 at 1:00am EDT
- Pine Knoll Shores 1.5 Mile Stroll & Dog Walk: 8:35AM EST - 10:00AM EST. 130 spots left. Registration Opens July 1, 2025 at 1:00am EDT
Location: McNeil Park, 196 Oakleaf Drive, Pine Knoll Shores, NC 28512 US
Registration: Online registration is available through midnight on November 26 or in person on Wednesday, November 26, from 3:00-4:00 PM at McNeil Park or Thanksgiving morning, November 27, beginning at 7:30 a.m. at McNeil Park. No registrations after 8:00 AM on race day.
Courses:
- 5K (3.1 mile) run/walk: Passes through the streets of Pine Knoll Shores and the Crystal Coast Country Club golf course (no strollers or dogs allowed).
- 1.5-mile stroll and dog walk: Traverses the streets of Pine Knoll Shores (no entry on the Golf Course with pets or strollers).
Additional Information: At the finish line, there will be water, bananas, and treats. Random drawing for prizes. The Turkey Trot is sponsored by the Town of Pine Knoll Shores Parks and Recreation Committee and will occur rain or shine! Attendance is limited to 400 registrations.
