The Pilgrims' Ultra: An Epic Trail Running Challenge
Embark on an epic trail running adventure along the historic St Oswald’s Way in Northumberland. This event offers a unique opportunity to follow in the footsteps of Saints and Kings, traversing some of the region’s most stunning scenery.
Distances and Routes
Choose from three challenging ultra-distance race options:
- 50 km: Starts on Holy Island and finishes in Craster.
- 100 km: Starts on Holy Island and finishes in Rothbury.
- 100 mile: Starts on Holy Island and finishes at Heaven Field.
The starting point for all distances is the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, a historically significant site and a place of pilgrimage since 635AD. The routes wind through diverse landscapes, including sandy beaches and ancient castles.
