Ausschreibung 16. Piesauer Glasmacherlauf
The 16th Piesauer Glasmacherlauf will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Dorfplatz in Piesau, near Hüttenring 37, 98724 Neuhaus OT Piesau.
This event is part of the Sparkassen-Cup and the TLV Lauf- und Nordic Walking Cup.
Strecken (Courses):
- 2.0 km: For participants born in 2011 and younger.
- 10.0 km Hauptlauf (Main Run): For participants born in 2010 and older. This course consists exclusively of forest paths.
- 10.0 km Nordic Walking: For participants born in 2012 and older. This course also consists exclusively of forest paths. Participants must use poles and running is prohibited; violators will be disqualified.
Startzeiten (Start Times):
- 09:25 Uhr: 10.0 km Nordic Walking
- 09:30 Uhr: 2.0 km Kinderlauf (Children's Run)
- 10:00 Uhr: 10.0 km Hauptlauf (Main Run)
Startgebühren (Entry Fees):
- 2.0 Kilometer: 4.00€
- 10.0 Kilometer: 13.00€
- Late registration on race day: +3.00€

Registration deadline is Wednesday, July 29, 2026, 20:00 Uhr. Online registration is available via the provided link.

- Changing rooms, washrooms, and showers available (not separated by gender).

- Cake sale.
- Trophies for the fastest runners on each course (1st-3rd place per gender).
- Awards for the first three in each age group.
- Team classification for the 10km course: the 2 fastest female runners or 3 fastest male runners from a club will be ranked (awards for 1st-3rd per gender).
The event is registered and insured with the Thuringian Athletics Association and the Landessportbund Thüringen.
