Piedmont - Cartersville Breast Cancer Boo Run 5K & 1M Wellness Walk
Please join Piedmont Cartersville for our first annual “Breast Cancer Boo Run 5K & 1M "Wellness Walk"”! Saturday morning, October 31, 2026. Race Start Time: is 9 a.m. at Hamilton Crossing Park - Cartersville, GA!
Breast cancer is the second most common cancer among women in the U.S. and early detection is critical. During breast cancer awareness month, we urge women age 40 or over and of average risk (age 30 if at higher risk) to schedule mammograms and clinical breast exams, as well as perform breast self-exams regularly. Please make plans to join us and wear your most creative Halloween running costume! While you enjoy a wonderful, fast, flat (and new!) race route in Cartersville / Bartow County's Own Hamilton Crossing Park! So make plans today to race, run, or walk with us to Celebrate breast cancer survivors and support those who are currently fighting! Net proceeds will benefit breast cancer patients at Piedmont Oncology – Cartersville.
Registration Details:
- 5K: $30 Pre-Race Registration Fee (until 11:59 PM, Sunday, October 25). $40 Race Day Registration Rate.
- 1M "Wellness Walk": $25 Pre-Race Registration Fee (until 11:59 PM, Sunday, October 25). $35 Race Day Registration Rate.
You must register by October 25 to guarantee your T-shirt size and lock in the reduced rate!

- 8:00 AM: Race Day Registration Opens
- 8:55 AM: Pre-Race Announcements
- 9:00 AM: 5K Start Time
- 9:15 AM: 1 Mile "Wellness Walk" Start Time
- 10:15 AM: 5K Awards
Pre-Registration Packet Pick-Up:
For those pre-registered, packet pick up will be held Friday, October 30 from 12 - 4 pm at Piedmont Cartersville Main Lobby located at 960 Joe Frank Harris Parkway, Cartersville, GA 30120. Avoid the Lines as Participants may pick up their official “Boo Gear” (Boo Bib, Boo Shirt, Boo Bag) the Friday before Race Day!
Race Day Parking:
There is plenty of free race day parking in Hamilton Crossing Park.
5K Awards:
Top 3 Overall Male and Female Winners, Top Master Male and Female Winners, and Top 3 Male & Female in the following Age Categories: 10-Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over.
