PFW Running - World Diabetes Day Run
World Diabetes Day is a global awareness campaign focusing on diabetes. The day marks the birthday of Frederick Banting, who is noted as the co-discoverer of insulin. 2 members of our team are type 1 diabetics and so have to rely on insulin injections several times a day. All profits from this run will be donated to Breakthrough T1D a charity set up to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes. By entering this event you will be helping fund the amazing work they carry out.
