Penn An Wlas
We welcome you to the "end of the land" or Penn an Wlas at Land's End.
A 10 mile ish, 1 loop, multi-terrain race taking in some of the most beautiful parts of the Cornish coast path and stunning inland footpaths. You will head out from Lands End, to race through Sennen Cove, Gwynver, turning inland to Sennen, Bottoms and Polgigga. Then heading back on the coast path at Nanjizal before returning to Lands End. This race is the perfect mix of road, grass and gravel track with nice hills and fast sections.
Starting and finishing at the iconic Lands End attraction with plenty of parking (free if you have registered your vehicle).
Registration is from 8am to 9.30 am at the Lands End Hotel (Conservatory entrance, facing the sea). Race start is 10 am with a 3 1/2 hour cut off.
All finishers receive an event medal and a free beer. Prizes for 1st to 3rd Female and Male, Plus a team trophy and our "True Grit" award.
Please note: All entries for our races close 2 weeks beforehand.
Kit list is advisory but please beware that this is the Cornish coastline and some of the footpaths are remote.

The 9.7 mile race is a multi terrain race covering the distance on mostly trail with some road sections.
- Registration: 8am - 9:30am at The Lands End Hotel
- Race Start: 10:00 am
- Cut off: 3.5 hours
- Parking: Ample parking available, free for registered local residents.
