Paderborner Martinslauf
The 10th Paderborner Martinslauf will take place on Friday, November 6, 2026, in Paderborn. Organized by SC Grün-Weiß Paderborn with the Osterlauf-Team and Laufladen Endspurt, this event promises not only athletic challenges but also visual highlights due to numerous light illuminations.
The race focuses on running fun and a unique atmosphere. Participants can choose between 6km and 10km distances, making the routes suitable for everyone.
Course Details
The Paderborner Martinslauf course runs through parts of the city center over approximately two kilometers per lap. The route passes by historical buildings such as the Cathedral and City Hall, goes through Marienplatz and Paderberg into the Paderquellgebiet, past picturesque half-timbered houses on the Dielen, and the baroque building of the City Library. It then ascends the Eselsberg to reach the Domplatz before returning to the start/finish. The course is not officially measured but has been tested by running experts.
The 2km loop will be run three or five times depending on the chosen distance. Both the 6km and 10km races will have separate start times.
