Osnabrücker Piesberg-Ultra-Marathon (PUM)
The Piesberg-Ultra-Marathon returns on April 10, 2027! Registration opens on April 11, 2026.
What's new? The route is slightly shorter but retains its character, designed to be more fluid based on tester feedback. A new 'PUMelchen' category allows participants to exit after a shorter distance (49 km) if needed, with automatic scoring. The full Piesberg-Ultra-Marathon remains 59.5 km.
Both distances have a generous 11-hour time limit. The last lap must be started by 5:00 PM.
The race primarily features gravel and natural paths, with characteristic numerous steps making this run unique. GPX data and route links are available.
The PUM concluded under its previous leadership in 2025 but returns on April 10, 2027, under new management with fresh energy. The challenge, demanding route, and familiar atmosphere remain at its core.
