New York City, USA Suicide Hill Founded in: Winter 2012 Members: 30 Runs: Suicide Hill Founders: Tony Muriel Paul Connect: Instagram Suicide Hill Racing Club On a Monday evening in late 2012 or early 2013, Tony , Muriel and Paul decided it would be a great idea to do repeats up on Suicide Hill to keep in shape during the post NYC marathon and during the holidays/winter. All three have been running with Bridgerunners for years and would run up this hill when the group would venture into Brooklyn so why not just run up and down a hill as a workout. What started out as a couple of short repeats up Suicide Hill turned into a threshold workout with unexpected pace pick-ups focusing on running form and trying to control breathing for various distances. This is basically an unconventional speed workout centered around one main big hill.
