Old Man Run Club (OMRC) was founded by Ryo, Dao-Yi and Eugene from NYC who joked about being and feeling old while running. After the 2018 NYC Marathon, they sent out a group email to see if anyone would be interested in getting together for a group long run. The rest is really history, we have since hosted long runs every Saturday and range anywhere from 9 to 22 miles. While our club name is Old Man Run Club, we actually have more females than males that run with us and there’s nothing OLD about the crew. Our idea has been to be open to everyone and all paces and would like to be seen as a platform for getting runners more acquainted with longer distances.
