Geelong Runners Club (G/RC) is a social running club founded in 2019, welcoming runners of all abilities in Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula. The club's philosophy is to provide a hassle-free environment for runners to enjoy running, meet new people, and build a network of supportive friends. G/RC organizes frequent social runs that are open to all members, designed to be fun and inclusive. The club acknowledges the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin Nation, the Traditional Owners of the land where they run. Geelong Runners Club is a non-profit running club run by volunteers, promoting COVID-safe practices. The club also offers a variety of running routes in Geelong, including the Waterfront, Balyang Sanctuary, Barwon River, and You Yangs Regional Park. Geelong also hosts various running events throughout the year.
