Craiova Running Club was founded in March 2014 by a group of solitary runners who used to run in the Romanescu Park from Craiova. The club has grown to include diverse members in terms of age, gender, hobbies, and performance. They organize Sunday group runs, free running classes, fun runs, and volunteer in running events in Craiova. They also get involved in charity projects. The club doesn't have a captain, but Cosmin, one of the founders, is seen as one.
