The Abbotsford Trail Running Club was founded in 2016 by a group of trail running enthusiasts in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia. They wanted to create a community of runners passionate about trail running. The club’s primary focus is on trail running, and they organize various events to promote fitness, community, and advocacy for local nature trails. The club’s mission statement, “To promote fitness and community through trail running and to advocate for our local nature trails,” reflects their dedication to their objectives. Since its establishment in 2016, they have been actively organizing weekly social trail runs and various clinics to support and encourage runners of all levels.
