Olympia Mile and Festival
The Olympia Mile and Festival is a fun 1-mile bike, run, or walk down Capitol Blvd, finishing at Sylvester Park for a festival. Here, you'll have the opportunity to meet local groups, clubs, and teams involved in different sporting activities.
There is an option for a "competitive mile race" for runners who want to run fast and receive a time. The goal of the event is to highlight all of the wonderful clubs, groups, and teams that Olympia has to offer that encourage physical activity and foster social connection. A portion of Capitol Blvd will be closed to traffic during the event.
The event is free for all, but you must register to participate in the bike/run/walk. There will be food trucks, giveaways, great community, and fun. Be sure to check back often for updates to the event.
Tentative Schedule of Events:
- Bikes roll at 9:00 am
- Runners start at 9:15 am
- Walkers at 9:20 am
- The road will be closed until 10:30 am.
- Festival in Sylvester Park from 9 am to 12 pm.
