Oliver Curd Charity Fun Run and Walk
The Oliver Curd Charity Fun Run and Walk is a point-to-point trail event covering approximately 5 miles through East Sussex countryside. The route runs from Crowhurst Park Holiday Village to Bulverhythe Recreation Ground and is nearly all downhill, following off-road trails and farmland.
Finish line hospitality is provided by the organisers' family and includes sandwiches, water, cake and beer. Spot prizes are available and a course map can be supplied on request.
The event raises funds for the Oliver Curd Trust, which provides holiday accommodation for families affected by childhood cancer and other life-threatening conditions. The charity was founded in 2008 in memory of a child. One hundred percent of entry fees are donated to the charity and all race expenses are covered by 1066 Trail Races.
