Oldham County Sprint Triathlon
Oldham County Parks and Recreation will be hosting its 23rd annual, USAT sanctioned Sprint Triathlon at Wendell Moore Park on Saturday, August 29, 2026. This is a great race for every level of triathlete. Participants must be 16 & over.
- Swim: 400 meters in the John W. Black Aquatic Center 25 meter pool (time start, every 15 seconds).
- Bike: 10 miles on hilly Oldham County roads (non-closed with police at major intersections).
- Run: 2 Miles on park grounds, including asphalt trail and grass sections.
All triathletes receive a finish medal. Awards ceremony follows the race with free pizza. Awards will be given to Overall Female, Overall Male, and top two finishers in various age groups. All triathletes receive a ticket for door prize drawings.
Registration deadline: August 16th at 11:59 p.m.
Maximum participants: 200 entries.
