Oak Ridge Qualifier: Half and Full Marathon

Description: This race is capped at 50 participants. It's ideal for those seeking a Boston Marathon Qualifying time or a Peak Half Marathon performance. The race start time is 5:30 AM to avoid higher temperatures later in the day. This is not recommended for first-time marathon runners. The race is low-key with no shirts, awards, or amenities. Runners should be prepared for light traffic conditions and running in dark conditions for a portion of the race (no headphones allowed). Check-in is race day only from 4:45 AM to 5:20 AM. Water/aid stops are at miles 3, 7, & 11 (outbound) and miles 15, 19, & 23 (Marathon). Participants should bring their own support (food, assistance, etc.). Both courses are certified for age group, national, regional, or qualifying standards. The Marathon course is USATF certified (TN21010MS).
Marathon Course: Out-and-back on the Oak Ridge Turnpike with less than 600ft elevation gain. A half-way split time will be provided. Strava Segment
