Oak Mountain 50K & 25K
The 25th Annual Oak Mountain 50K and 25K races will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, starting at 7:30 AM CST. The event is held in Oak Mountain State Park, Alabama's largest park, established in 1927. The courses run through forested hills on mostly single-track trails. The 50K course includes two climbs up Double Oak Mountain, passing Peavine Falls and Maggie's Glen & Shackleford Point. The 25K course also traverses scenic parts of the park.

- 25K Time Limit: 9 hours
- Elevation Gain (50K): Approx. 3,600 feet
- Park Entrance Fee: $5 per Adult (age 12+), $2 per Child (age 4-11), $2 per Senior (age 62+). Active Military, Retired Military, and Veterans are Free. Ages 3 & under are Free.
- Packet Pickup: Saturday, March 28th - 6:30 - 7:15 am CST, Dogwood Pavilion (Oak Mtn State Park)
- Parking: Available in front of the Dogwood Pavilion.
- Restrooms: Available in front of the Dogwood Pavilion.
- Registration Closes: Monday, March 23rd @ 11:59 PM CT
- No refunds, race day registration, transfers, or deferrals.
- Not allowed on course: strollers, animals, bicycles, or unentered runners.
- Hotels: Available in Pelham & Inverness, AL. Camping available at Oak Mountain State Park.

Awards: Top 3 Overall Male/Female, 1st Overall Male/Female Master, 1st Overall Male/Female Grand Master. All finishers receive a medal.
