North Dakota State Fair Run the Route 5K
Join us for the annual North Dakota State Fair Run the Route 5K on July 18th and kick off the day with a fun run along the parade route!
Registration
Registration will be open online until 08:00am on 7/18/2026. Race Day registration is available the morning of the event at the Our Redeemers packet pickup location.
Packet Pick Up
- Friday, July 17th – Roosevelt Park Zoo from 4:30pm - 7:00pm
- Saturday, July 18th – Our Redeemers from 7:30am - 8:30am
Entry Fee
- Ages 13 and up - $25 through June 30th, $30 in July
- Children 8-12 - $15 through June 30th, $20 in July
- Children 7 and under - Free
Starting Time & Locations
Start Time: 8:45am 7/18/2026
Start Location: Our Redeemers Church (South Hill Sports Complex)
Finish Line: Burdick Expy at the State Fair Gate E Entrance
Parking: Parking will be available at the Our Redeemers Church parking lot.
*** All participants will be responsible for own transportation to starting lines and from finish.
Additional Information
- Participants must register by July 4th to guarantee a Run the Route T-shirt.
- All runners receive an admission ticket to the State Fair on completion of the 5K.
- Concert tickets and trophies will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers.
- Small awards will also be given to the top male and female in the following categories: Under 12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
- A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to children's running groups/programs in our community (BIOGirls, Strides for Sunnyside, etc.)
