The Muddy Sneaker is a twelve+ mile trail run in the Hi Tor Wildlife Management Area in the Finger Lakes region of New York State, southeast of Canandaigua Lake. Established in 2000, the Sneaker has some of the most rapid elevation loss and gain of any trail run in the region.
During the Muddy Sneaker you may encounter any or all of the following hazards: rocks, roots, snow, ice, crawling over logs, stream crossings, oversized chickens and other wild creatures. THIS IS NOT A PR COURSE! If however you want to test yourself against nature, the raw beauty of Hi Tor and your own will to finish this is the race for you.
We will be registering 200 runners this year WITH NO WAITING LIST!!!! Packet pickup will start at 7:30 AM, there will be an early start at 8 AM - participants in the early start are not eligible for awards, the official race start is at 9 AM. Entry fee is $50 this year.
