MTC Black Shuck - 45 Miles
The Mount to Coast Black Shuck is a new single-day ultra challenge for 2029, covering 45 miles from Bridgwater to Crediton. This race is part of the Mount to Coast End to End Challenge Series and is also Day 10 of the 13-day MTC ALBION End to End Challenge of England.
The route follows the same path as the MTC JOGLE race but with reduced daily distances. The field is limited to 20 standalone entries plus an additional 20 places for ALBION entrants, making a maximum of 40 participants.
Entries are non-refundable. Standard entry and a plus package are available, with the plus package including an embroidered race shirt and a hi-visibility jacket if ordered at least four weeks before the event. Personal cancellation insurance is an optional add-on at checkout.

- Start Location: Premier Inn, Bridgwater North
- Finish Location: Union Road Moto Velo, Crediton
- Minimum Speed: 4 mph average speed required. Cut-off points are enforced.
- Sustainability: This is a cup-free event; participants must bring a reusable cup.
- Preparation: Maps and GPX files will be emailed four weeks prior. Tracking devices with SOS functions will be provided.
- Mandatory Kit: Backpack, head torch with spare batteries, route maps, compass or GPS, whistle, mobile phone, basic first aid, and emergency food.
- Age Requirement: Entrants must be 20 years or over on the start day.
