The Mt. Hood Races are a beloved trail running event, now in its 27th year. The races take place just south of Mt. Hood, with the start and finish at the Historic Clackamas Ranger Station. Participants will experience beautiful and runnable trails, scenic views, and a great finish-line atmosphere for friends and family.
The 50-mile course is an out-and-back run primarily on the Pacific Crest Trail, with the route direction flipped this year. The 50K also utilizes the PCT and includes a loop around Timothy Lake. The 25K course features the Headwaters and Old 1916 Trail before circling Timothy Lake. Trails are generally soft but include some technical sections with rocks and roots.
All races start and finish at the Historic Clackamas Ranger Station.
50M - Saturday
50K & 25K - Sunday
Capacity: 50-mile=150, 50K=150, 25K=250. None of the races are lotteries; they open simultaneously and fill rapidly. Waitlists are activated when a race sells out.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations more than 30 days prior to the race receive a 50% credit towards a future Go Beyond Racing event, valid for 365 days. Cancellations within 30 days receive no credit, refund, or transfer.
