Mountwood Challenge Trail Race
Half Marathon and 5K trail races located in Mountwood Park - 15 miles east of Parkersburg, WV on U.S. Route 50. Take the Volcano Road exit and the main parking lot is about one half mile by the boat ramp.
Courses and Details:
- Mountwood Challenge Half Marathon: 13.1 Miles. T-shirts guaranteed if registered by September 6. Runners must be at least 15 years old. Awards for top 3 overall male and female, plus age groups.
- Mountwood Challenge 5K Run: 3.1 Miles. Awards for top 3 overall male and female, plus age groups (including Under 15).
- Mountwood Challenge 5K Walk: 3.1 Miles. Awards for top 3 overall male and female, plus age groups (including Under 15).
Time Limits: The half marathon has a 4-hour time limit. Participants over 2 hours at the halfway point will be routed to the finish.
