Moreau Half Marathon - Rouyn-Noranda, 16 August 2026
The 11th edition of the Moreau event takes place on 16 August 2026 in Rouyn-Noranda, with the event site at the athletics track of the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue. The course runs along the shores of Lac Osisko. To mark the 100th anniversary of the City of Rouyn-Noranda, a marathon of 42.2 km is offered; it consists of two loops of 21.1 km.
The event includes the following distances:
- 42.2 km (marathon)
- 21.1 km (half marathon)
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 2.5 km
- 800 m
- 400 m
Children's races of 400 m and 800 m are reserved for children, are free and will not be timed; advance registration is required. The 2.5 km is reserved for children aged 6 to 14 inclusive; an adult companion can be registered with the child.
A free childcare/animation service is available during the races, subject to registration at the time of entry. Each participant receives a participation medal; prizes are awarded to the top three women and top three men in each distance. Entrants registered on or before 26 July 2026 receive a commemorative t-shirt; no tank top is offered this year.
