Mora Half Marathon & 5K
Join us for the Mora Half Marathon & 5K on Saturday, August 15, 2026. This event offers both a challenging 13.1-mile run and a 5K run/walk, as well as a free kids' race.
Key Information:
- Half Marathon Start: 7:30 A.M.
- 5K Start: 7:45 A.M.
- Free Kids Run: Immediately after the 5K start.
- Registration Closes: August 14th at 11:59 PM online. Bib pick-up and same-day registration available on race day from 6:15-7:00 a.m.
- Race Shirts: Guaranteed for participants registered by August 1, 2026.
- Course Certification: Both the Half Marathon and 5K courses are certified, though road construction may cause minor adjustments. No refunds will be issued.
- Timing: Official timing for the half marathon ends 3 hours and 15 minutes after the start.
- Severe Weather: Race start may be delayed up to 60 minutes in case of lightning. Cancellation may occur if weather does not clear.
Awards
Half Marathon: Trophies for top three overall males and females. Medals for top three age group finishers.
5K: Trophies for top overall male and female. Medals for top three age group finishers and top local (Kanabec County) finishers.
Course Markings: Half Marathon - orange footprints. 5K - green footprints.
