Miles for Migraine - DC/VA/MD 2026
Miles for Migraine will host its 10th annual 2-mile Walk, 5K Run and Relax DC/VA/MD event on Saturday October 3rd at Laurel Hill Central Green Park in Lorton Virginia. This event is a fundraiser for Migraine & Headache Awareness, Treatment & Research. It's more than a walk/run - come connect with your local migraine & headache community, listen to our speakers & visit sponsors in the festival area. The 5K run is professionally timed. The Walk and the Relax events are free, but donations are encouraged. All walk and run finishers receive a finisher medal. Dress up in your best purple flair for a chance at a fun prize!
Funds raised will benefit Miles for Migraine free programs & services as well as the MedStar Georgetown Headache Center to support local migraine research and fellowship training programs.
Registration Fees
- 2 Mile Untimed Walk: Free (Jan 27 - Oct 3) - This option does not include a participant shirt.
- Relax with us: Free (Jan 27 - Oct 3) - This option does not permit you to walk or run on the event course.
- 5K Chip Timed Run: $12.01 (Early bird pricing, Jan 27 – Sep 10), $17.36 (Sep 11 – Oct 3) - This option does not include a participant shirt.
- Virtual Event Participant: $39.81 (Early bird pricing, Jan 27 – Sep 10), $45.16 (Sep 11 – Oct 3) - Includes participant shirt, event bib, and finisher medal. Swag bag mailed for an additional charge.

Earn Miles for Migraine Swag based on fundraising. Awards for Top Individual Fundraiser, Top Fundraising Team, Largest Patient/Caregiver/Advocate Team, Spirit Award & more. Nominate someone for our Caregiver Appreciation Award. Awards for 1st place Female overall, Male overall, Non Binary overall.
