Midsummer Trail - Thaxted
This is a self-navigation trail race using a written route description that will be issued on the day. There are no course markings, no marshals and no GPX file provided. The event is not a mass start; participants will be timed out and must return to the finish for timing.
Race HQ will be located at the Farmhouse Inn, Monk Street, Thaxted CM6 2NR.
Entry fees are £9 for affiliated runners and £11 for unaffiliated runners, plus a 50p booking fee. The entry price includes a £4 voucher to use in the pub on the night. A service fee of 4 percent applies to each sign-up with a minimum charge of 50p. Discounted entries apply for members of clubs affiliated to EA WA SA TRA until the stated closing date.
Running or walking with dogs is not allowed. Results will be posted on essextrailevents.com. No refunds are offered and transfers are not permitted after 17 June 2026.
Minimum age for participants is 17. TRA permit status is listed as awaiting approval.
